Jessica

Jessica started with Colorado Lawyer Team as a student Intern many years ago, worked her way up to Legal Assistant, and now is a full-blown Paralegal. Jessica aspired to attend law school herself at one point but found that she greatly enjoyed the “behind-the-scenes” work of being a Paralegal instead. Jessica is the primary staff member for all family law cases and supports our team with criminal defense, civil, and employment cases.

Jessica is extremely detail-oriented and organized. She helps clients with their financial statements, drafts Motions, and other pleadings, and regularly organizes complex family law documents into some semblance of order. She prepares exhibits for trials and supports our attorneys with any miscellaneous tasks they might need. As a result of her B.A. in Economics, and coursework in business and finance, Jessica excels at understanding business operations and finances. Jessica spends her spare time enjoying the Colorado outdoors camping, hiking, and fishing. She has two adorable pugs, and you’re probably going to hear them snoring when you call her. Jessica continues to take ongoing legal education courses on legal research and writing, and she is one of COLawTeam’s most valuable employees.
