Welcome to Colorado Lawyer Team
Comprehensive Legal Services with Transparent Pricing
At Colorado Lawyer Team, we provide a wide range of legal services, including Criminal Defense, Family Law, Employment Representation, and Civil Litigation. Our commitment is to deliver exceptional legal representation with clear, transparent pricing, so you can navigate your legal matters confidently. While criminal defense is offered on a flat-fee basis, our services in family law, employment representation, and civil litigation are billed hourly, ensuring that you pay only for the time and work required for your case.
Each case begins with a customized retainer based on its complexity and anticipated duration. We require biweekly replenishment of any amount spent from the trust account to maintain the threshold set at the initial hiring. Additionally, a payment method must be always kept on file regardless of the type of case.
Hourly Rates:
- Attorney Time: $350/hr
- Paralegal Time: $185/hr
- Administrative Time: $75/hr
Travel Time: billed at ½ the regular rate
While our flat fees and hourly rates cover most legal work, clients are responsible for additional costs such as mileage, filing fees, copying costs, and payments for investigators or experts. These costs are billed as they are incurred, with receipts provided for transparency. Timely reimbursement is expected.

Family Law
Our family law practice is dedicated to helping you through life’s most challenging transitions, including divorce, child custody, spousal maintenance, and more. We offer 3 tiers of representation with differing initial buy-in amounts for the retainers. All matters are billed at the hourly rates above with biweekly replenishment from a saved payment method on file. Family law is never done as a flat fee and the amounts below are estimates and not caps on legal fees charged.

Will you do refunds if I change my mind or if my case settles unexpectedly?
In hourly cases, the unused retainer amount is 100% refundable. Typically, we will hold the retainer for 30-60 days to allow for any lingering bills to be paid out as several vendors (including the state’s electronic filing system) bill in arrears. With our flat fee cases, the engagement agreement will specify when and if you’re entitled to a refund. Most of the time, the flat fee is earned in full and a refund, if any, would be discretionary with the attorney assigned to the case after discussion with the rest of the team. Any unused cost retainers are likewise fully refundable after the final bills have been accounted for on a case.
Geographic Reach and Virtual Services
We proudly serve clients across northeastern Colorado, the I-70 mountain corridor, and the Front Range from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs. All major metro areas are covered. We handle most cases virtually, including remote court appearances, to save you time and money. Travel time, when necessary, is billed at half the normal hourly rate.>
