The best way to describe Jessica is a chronic overachiever. In the past three years she’s went from high school Valedictorian, to Colorado State University Magna Cum Laude graduate, to aspiring law school student. She started with Colorado Lawyer Team as a student Intern many years ago, and worked her way up to Legal Assistant, and now is a full-blown Paralegal. She hopes to learn more about the legal process and law firm ins and outs before attending law school for herself later in life (unless our attorneys decide not to let her go!).

Jessica is extremely detail-oriented, and she is our primary family law paralegal at this time. She helps clients with financial documents, drafts Motions, and regularly organizes complex family law documents into some semblance of order. She prepares exhibits for trials, works closely with Justie on DIY materials, and supports our attorneys. Jessica also supports our employment and civil law divisions, and is very good at understanding business operations.

When not learning or working, Jessica spends her time hiking, baking, or watching Friends reruns (for probably the hundredth time). She has two adorable pugs, and you’re probably going to hear them snoring when you call her. Jessica continues to take ongoing legal education courses on legal research and writing, and she is one of COLawTeam’s most valuable employees.
